Victoria Sulerzyski honored with Volunteer of a Lifetime award
Kennedy Krieger Board Member, Victoria Sulerzyski, recently received the Volunteer of a Lifetime Award from the United Way of Central Maryland (UWCM). Sulerzyski, an associate at Ober|Kaler, has dedicated her life to advocating for children with special needs. UWCM gives this award annually to an individual who demonstrates a lifelong commitment of caring to the community. For more than 10 years, Sulerzyski has served as a member and immediate past chair of the board of UWCM-funded partner PACT: Helping Children with Special Needs. She also serves on the board at Kennedy Krieger Institute and sits on the Consumer Advisory Council for the Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities and the Model Waiver Advisory Council for the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
"It is an honor to accept the 2012 Volunteer of a Lifetime award from the United Way of Central Maryland on behalf of the thousands of children PACT serves each year. The dedication of PACT's staff, along with the generosity of the donors of the United Way of Central Maryland and of Ober|Kaler, provides an excellent opportunity for me to make an impact on many children and their familes who are dealing with significant special needs."
