The 26th annual Festival of Trees was a huge success with record-breaking attendance and funds raised. Over Thanksgiving weekend, the Maryland State Fairgrounds’ Cow Palace was transformed into a winter wonderland, featuring nearly 800 spectacular trees, wreaths, and gingerbread houses created by local designers.
More than 52,000 attendees braved the unseasonably warm temperatures to kick off their holiday season with live entertainment, princess visits, shopping, a silent auction, “reindeer” pony rides, a train garden, dozens of games and amusements, and, of course, Santa!
All funds raised from the event support the Institute’s patient care, research and training, special education, and community programs.
We would like to thank all the sponsors, volunteers, and attendees who helped make this event possible. We could not have done it without you! Learn how you can become a sponsor for next year’s Festival of Trees.
