On May 10th, family and friends gathered at the Annapolis Maritime Museum to honor International Center for Spinal Cord Injury patient, Steve Ritterbush, and raise critical funds for the Center. More than $225,000 has been raised for the purchase of the Ekso Bionic robotic exoskeleton and to provide money for the Hope Fund. The robotic exoskeleton is an integral tool in the Center’s activity-based restorative therapy program. The Hope Fund enables patients to receive much-needed therapies even after their annual insurance reimbursement is exhausted.
The event featured the debut of the Hope Through Motion video, a live demonstration of the exoskeleton, and a reverse auction. Thank you to everyone who made the evening a complete success!
