Corporate and Foundation
The Corporate and Foundation staff’s primary function is to build, strengthen and enhance relationships with the corporate and foundation community to raise necessary funds for important Institute initiatives.
Involvement with Kennedy Krieger allows our corporate and foundation partners to gain visibility with the Institute’s many stakeholders as an employer, as a community partner and as an important benefactor.
Corporate and Foundation Support typically includes:
-
Corporate Giving
As a corporation, you can establish a relationship with Kennedy Krieger which will support programs to help children with special needs while reinforcing the importance and benefits of philanthropy in the community with your employees. Gifts to benefit Kennedy Krieger can be made in the form of cash gifts, matching gifts, in-kind donations and grants.
-
Sponsorship Opportunities
Our Festival of Trees and ROAR events attract thousands of participants and major media coverage. As a sponsor you will share those spotlights and send a strong message to your customers, partners and employees that you care about the health and well being of children with special needs.
-
Matching Gifts
Many companies have a matching gift program that matches part or all of their employee’s gift. Contact your Human Resources Department to see if your company participates in a matching gift program.
-
Foundation Giving
Foundations with an interest in areas such as healthcare, education, research and the community will find that Kennedy Krieger Institute shares their mission by making a difference in the lives of children with special needs. The care provided at Kennedy Krieger extends beyond individual treatment services in an effort to address the entire range of not only the child’s needs but also those of the entire family.
The generosity of our corporate partners goes well beyond financial giving. Your contributions support our innovative research, patient care and education programs.
